The Challenge:
Essilor had thousands of images they had shot or purchased from a number of sources, but did not have a digital asset management tool to act as a central repository. As a result, individual employees resorted to creating personal filing systems for imagery and weren’t able to access imagery their co-workers had purchased, sometimes resulting in duplicate image acquisition. As the global market leader, Essilor needed a web-based solution that would store all of the company’s images and enable them to efficiently search, track, share, and manage licenses for their visual assets, increasing brand control and brand equity.
The Solution:
OnRequest Images provided a customized solution for Essilor with OnRequest Image Manager™. OnRequest OnPro™ team members edited and keyworded approximately 1,500 of Essilor’s current images in their library, allowing Essilor to effectively search all of their imagery at the click of a button. Consistent naming conventions and keywording aligned perfectly with Essilor’s new strategic visual branding initiatives.
