The Challenge
The Denihan Hospitality Group owns many boutique hotels including Affinia Hotels, The Benjamin, The James and The Surrey. They recently invested in refurbishing The Surrey Hotel in NY on the upper Eastside. Since the Surrey is the crown jewel of their portfolio they desired exceptional, enticing photography to showcase the infinite details and luxury. The hotel's interior was designed down to the very smallest detail including doorknobs, handmade mosaic tile floor, Duxiana beds and refined fabrications. They hired OnRequest Images to execute the shoot with their branding partner, ARNY, providing the Art Direction for this showcase hotel.
The Solution
OnRequest Images has a long-term relationship with the Denihan Hospitality Group so we understood exactly what was required to differentiate The Surrey property from their others. We tapped into our network of New York talent that had experience shooting high-end architecture while creating images that were inviting and luxurious. We shot 5 days from the marquee to the spa to the fireplace in the penthouse to the butler kitchen in the presidential suite and all rooms in between to capture the brilliance of the hotel with its unique qualities.
The Result
The Surrey has marketing material with beautiful imagery allowing their clients to experience their stay even before arriving. Their library now includes over 50 images that express The Surrey brand.
